Here's some footage someone took in the UK back in the 80's.
All those locomotives running around pulling coaches, it's almost kind of like a "railway" isn't it?
From what I understand not a trace of this nice action exists nowadays, as the tracks now are dominated by faceless, plastic looking "unit" trains with no locomotives.
I believe all the diesels in this footage were old enough to have worked along side steam engines in the 50s and 60s and are now all vintage themselves.
