Okay droogs! Now for a proper update. Sorry for not saying hay sooner, but I’ve been chilling at my grandma’s for the past week(s) and haven’t been able to get to a computer. Derp! Okay here’s what I’ve been up to.
Dec 19: Managed to get to grandma’s okay. Sluggy’s car stalled twice along the highway, but If I’m going to be stuck in some broken down car by the road, it might as well be with him <3. We beat a nasty snowstorm that dumped over 2 feet of snow in a few places. So I spent that Saturday and Sunday digging my grandmother’s house out of the snow.
Dec 20+22: Painted a backdrop for my step-sister’s church’s Christmas play. I only had 5 house paint colors (white, brown, sky blue, dark red, deep yellow, and a dirty green) and 5 hours to complete it. I’ve had tighter crunches when I worked in Stage Production back in Highschool, so it wasn’t a problem. Other than that I sat around and listened to my Grandmother complain that I don’t draw enough pretty people and gosh, Villain sure is violent! What example are you setting for kids Maniac >8[
Dec 23: Saw Princess and the Frog with Sluggy. It was, very very amazing. It made us both feel like we were back in theaters in the 90’s seeing Hunchback and Beauty and the Beast. Fucking. Awesome. The only crit I can really mention, and Sluggy feels the same was, is that there is a lot of characters to keep track of. But oh man do you love them. Oh yes. Art boners ahoy! We had to wait a billion years to get our tickets because of all the Teeny-boppers going to see New Moon. Enjoy your 3 hours of pain folks! Hurrhurr.
Dec 24: Went to my Step-Sis’s Church play thing cause it’s our family tradition thing. It was really good, and the church folks were nice enough to credit me in the bulletin. So it was pretty nice :D I made the mistake of reading the newspaper from around here. See what happened that there’s a nativity that’s set up in the city square. Some dude from an Atheist group went to the town hall and asked permission to put up a sign there too celebrating Atheist Military Serviceman. The town hall decided to pass a rule in response to disallow any group to place anything in the square, the only acception is flags for Memorial Day. This was because they knew they’d have to accomidate everyone, and that uh……includes the KKK snooping around here. So they decided to be safe and just equally deny everyone. Of course that meant the Nativity had to be moved back to the church across the street. So of course, there are numerous letters to the editor calling for this poor man’s blood (the guy who asked to put up the sign) and one guy wrote in saying that Atheists shouldn’t fight for their rights and they should just ‘shut up’ because they ‘aren’t human and will burn in hell forever’. So allllll the good vibes I got from the church play were the whole congregation was like ‘OH HI WE LOVE EVERYONE HUGS :D’ disappeared as soon as a Opened the paper. Gerg. >8[
Dec 25: Xmas! I went over to my parent’s with my grandmother. There were no kids there that day, so it was just us adults. It was nice though, but Sluggy couldn’t make it because he was being held holiday hostage by his own family. I didn’t get much this year. My Step-Sis and her husband got my nice sketching pencils, some nice sketchbooks (one is a watercolor sketch book :D) and comic layout paper. My parents just put a few bones in my account. I spent the day loving on my dog before I went back to grandma’s where I beat Half-Life 2 for like, the 15th goddamn time.
Dec 27: Since I didn’t get the Nintendo DS I wanted for Christmas, I went out and fucking bought the damn thing myself! I picked up a DS Lite and Pokemon Platinum over at Wal-Mart. The DS itself is so fun omg. I wanted one sooooo badddd but I always feel guilty buying ‘big’ things like that, but fuck that shit. I wanted the bastard since they came out so now I have one! It’s this real pretty deep blue color/black and I have named him Beebop, continuing my Ninja Turtle Villain theme for my electronics. And guys. Guys. Pokemon Platinum. I will never ever finish anything ever again. I swear. I really wanted to get Electroplankton though, but it’s rare so I doubt It would be in stock anyway. Now I can battle pokamanz with people! Yay!
Dec 28: I’ve already sunk 10 goddamn hours into pokemon. It’s like, Meth and Crack rolled up into a syringe that you inject directly into your EYES. I have a Haunter and I named him Egon :D The only lame thing is that to get a Gengar I have to find someone with a DS that will do a swap with me. I’ll trade my Haunter to them and they’ll give me their pokemon that needs to be traded to evolve. Once they evolve you swap them back. I dunno If you can do that over Nintendo WiFi, but if any of you droogs want to trade pokemanz/battle let me know :o All my pokemanz are around the 20’s range at the moment, so you will all probably beat me anyway XD But hey that’s the fun right? I also got a quick job doing inventory at the warehouse I used to be employed, so I made some extra cash to take back to school/spend on my damn DS. Lolz.
That’s what happened for me these past few days. Gerg Holidays. I’ll be so glad to have them over and back to school. I checked my grades and got straight A’s, so I’m eager to get back and see if I can get the same thing for this semester! I hope :D
Oh also, AGOTS/Villain will double update this weekend. There will be a comic Saturday and then another will upload Sunday. Sorry again for missing last week, I couldn’t physicly get to a computer to do anything. And well next week, I’m afraid there won’t be an update, or the week after. I just can’t get to a scanner or anything, or really get on the internets much. So I’ll put up some filler arts and both comics on a hiatus until I get back to campus on the 17th. I feel awful doing this, but what can I do if I can’t scan anything/get on the net XD. I’LL STILL BE WORKING ON BOTH COMICS, I just won’t be able to scan them until then. Maybe I can borrow Sluggy’s scanner before heading back, but that’s a slim chance.
